We Do Not Guess. We Test.
The local SEO industry runs on recycled blog posts. We run on live client data. We do not guess what ranks a Google Business Profile. We break things, track the data, and document the exact mechanisms that push a local business into the top three spots.
If a strategy or software tool claims to boost local visibility, we put it through a brutal, real-world gauntlet before it ever reaches this site. We read it. We tested it. We published it.
How We Select What To Cover
We ignore the noise. When a new local SEO tool or map pack strategy hits the market, we look for specific operational utility. Does it solve a real friction point for a local business? We select review management platforms, citation aggregators, and grid-tracking software based on actual client needs.
If an HVAC contractor in Phoenix needs faster review velocity, we test three tools to see which actually converts SMS requests into live Google reviews. We don’t review generic SEO suites. We review specialized local search weapons.
Our Evaluation Criteria
We measure impact, not features. A shiny dashboard means nothing if it doesn’t expand your proximity radius. We evaluate every tool and tactic against three strict performance metrics.
- Map Pack Proximity Expansion. We run geogrid reports before and after implementation. We want to see red pins turn green at least three miles out from the physical location.
- Review Velocity and Retention. Getting reviews is easy. Keeping them from getting filtered by Google’s spam algorithm is hard. We track how many requested reviews stick after 30 days.
- NAP Syndication Accuracy. We audit citation builders by pulling manual searches across 50 directories. If a tool leaves duplicate listings or mismatched phone numbers, it fails.
The 90-Day Reality Check
Local SEO requires patience. You cannot test a map pack strategy in a weekend. We commit a minimum of 90 days to every tool or tactic we evaluate.
Thirty days to index, thirty days to stabilize, thirty days to measure the actual ranking shift.
We run these tests on live staging sites and secondary Google Business Profiles. We track the exact day a Q&A section is optimized. We monitor the exact week the citation burst hits. Only after three months of hard data do we write a single word of our review.
What We Refuse To Review
We draw a hard line on what gets published here. We refuse to cover CTR manipulation bots. We never review services selling fake Google reviews. We reject automated article spinners meant for GBP posts.
If a tactic risks a permanent profile suspension, we kill it immediately.
We also skip enterprise-level SEO platforms that charge thousands of dollars for features a local plumber or dentist will never use. Our focus remains strictly on practical, defensible map pack optimization.
The People Running The Tests
Every test is designed and overseen by Kristian Cabiong. Kristian built his foundation as an Amazon PPC Consultant and Specialist. He brought that exact, ruthless, data-first methodology into the local SEO space.
In PPC, every cent is tracked. Kristian applies that same granularity to organic map pack rankings. He doesn’t rely on gut feelings. He relies on geogrid data, conversion tracking, and strict A/B testing on live business profiles.
How We Keep Content Accurate
Google updates its local search algorithm constantly. What worked last spring often fails today. We audit our published reviews every six months.
If a citation tool drops its API access, we update the guide. If Google changes how it displays service areas, we rewrite the strategy. We test it. We break it. We update the site.
